If there's one thing I've learned about Subaru...they are a giant **** tease.

This is true but on a positive note there doesn't seem to be mention of any exterior changes (except for a cf wing) where they like to ****tease the most. We all know that the soon to come refresh should target the engine. Why not a 350 or 375 bhp version of the FA20? I think the author is mistaken claiming they will go bigger displacement with the new STI, he pulled that out of his ***.

It's definitely all speculation until we see something official from SOA. This article could very well have been a clever marketing ploy by Subaru.

And I agree...I've been saying for a long time that Subaru needs to up the HP on the STI. I don't care if the WRC rules matter or not. Give us a turbo H6!

Subaru hasn't competed in wrc since like 2008. And the factory homologation days are long gone.

Also, there are better (sometimes more economical) ways into a turbo H6 as well.

That said, I wouldn't mind seeing the DI 2.0 or 2.5. Revamp, same motor with a different turbo, or otherwise. As long as they dump the pos ej25t.

In this case is the word "giant" modifying "****" or "tease"?

Sounds more like a future Spec-C model more than anything. 6 pot front brakes are pretty common on those.

The STi will (either in its mid cycle refresh or the next generation) come with the FA engine. Holding it over to the 2015MY STi was a stretch enough...
