I have been doing quite a bit of reading on sways, blocks, and end links. Now from what I can tell getting a set from one company is the way to go. I've read in many different threads that bars don't always match up with links ie Perrin bars and Whiteline links. Now I have pretty much decided on the Perrin kit being that it was previously install on my car along with the Prodrive springs. I know some people don't care for Perrin (so no crap from Tom) but does anyone have Perrin sways, blocks, or links and what are your thoughts?

    Thanks

Thank you, but do you agree getting a kit designed to work together is better than piecing one together?

I have a perrin bar and whiteline endlinks used to have eibach pro-kit springs on stock struts, now have ksport coilovers. I don't think you'll notice a difference between brands if you mix and match (i.e. endlinks and swaybars). Springs differ in rate and struts should be upgraded when springs are done.

That being said, i think Whiteline's products are superior to most to all others.

Then again, if you look at my picture, maybe you shouldn't listen to my advise! ;)

Pardon the threadjack but this is a topic that I'm looking at as well. I've read a lot of conflicting information on sizing. What sizes and types (hollow vs solid) are you looking at or using for daily drivers?

Wow, Taras knows his ****. Whiteline stuff is 100% top notch. And yes, Perrin suspension stuff sucks nuts. Go with Whiteline + Kartboy. I got my whole set of sways + endlinks for around $450 shipped.

Nope, the stock mounts are fine for anything not really crazy big.

I got the links from Oakos online. I got the sways from a vendor on clubwrx/nasioc. JnJAssociates, if I remember correctly. Got a really great price on the sways.

I got my Whiteline 27mm front and 24mm rear sways from ImportImage. They were cheap and the shipping was quick, he's also top-notch.

A lot of shops suggest this setup, I'd disagree with a street car. IMO people are always putting way too much stiffness into their suspensions and their cars slide around too much and are heavily overdamped and oversprung and probably drive worse on the street

I autocross a lot with less front and rear bar (22mm front, 22mm-28mm rear, whiteline bars and endlinks) and it really gives you a bit more grip for a small amount more of chassis roll. 27mm FSB is useless in general if you aren't autocrossing the car regularly other than to balance out a too big RSB or an adjustable one set way too high like evreyone always does.

I went 22mm front, 24mm rear. Made a huge difference. I'm not a suspension expert, but I do feel that the car is quite balanced. Turn in (especially when I get on the throttle) dramatically improved.

That's why I got them adjustable. And yes, they are pretty big.

That's my setup as well. Whiteline 22mm front, 24mm rear with Kartboy links F/R. Much better turn in and throttle balance. Plus the Kartboys are rebuildable and Tom stands behind his work 100%.

If it says Perrin, it's not recommended by many of us. Your call on that one.

I run a Perrin bar/mounts in the rear on the RS... Absolutely no complaints. Still running on the original stock endlinks.

I had Perrin rear endlinks. They didn't fit right and ended up breaking the bolt. Twice.

    I now have Kartboy.
