all suspension for impreza should work on your car. even the 02-05 stuff (this wont work right, but it will fit). i have had very little experience with the GR2 however i have theard that the AGX are very nice and stiff. however they do go for about 100 a corner, i am not sure what the gr2s are worth.

the springs will most likely be soft compared to the coilovers. i am not sure of the handling differences between the two, however i have heard from other people that you will get better performance out of coilovers vs springs why i dont know.

on to the coilovers. i have a set of R1 Racing coilovers (thx Yia). becareful with the spring rates on these (and the springs too) mine have 400p and 350p, these are super stiff. when i hit a speed bump it could send me through the roof. just make sure that they wont be too stiff for minnesota roads. the handling that i get out of my coilovers is great. compared to stock springs i have very little body roll, and can stick coners like crazy. another pro is the adjustable ride hieght. i know it might seem rice but i love the way my car looks slammed. with my coilover adjusted all the way down (4") i am not quite tucking the tires, and i stiff have 6" or so or ground clearnace to the oil pan. i haveyet to put a scratch in it too.

stock struts are not enough to handle the coilovers (i bounce alot, it sucks)

    hope this helped

Well....it's true because the coilover sleeve coils are stiffer, but you just need to get more dampen shocks for it.

I have coilover sleeve, but I need stiffer shocks for it, so I'm going to have to save for KYB AGX. And I also need shocks because the ones I have now are dying out.

SPT springs are really good ones. They're almost equal in spring rate, giving you god handling. Couple that with AGX struts and you have a god setup for light track and street use. That is unless you want the STi Tarmac, which is stiff.

If you want to know about agx, talk to me. Gr-2s then talk to fong. The agx are adjustable on the dampers. the gr-2's are set right between hard and soft. the agx can be adjusted to soft or hard. if you want something good and cheap then get springs with gr-2s. When you become a balla then get some teins or something.

It all depends on how you drive your impreza. If its just for street then the gr-2s will be perfect with some other springs.

I still have my spt's and front agx from Red and White...to bad its not for sale anymore.

Ok I decided 100% on the KYB GR2. But for springs ????, the SPT's are a little expensive for my taste, any others I am thinking whiteline, or what do u guys think. REMEMBER "LOW BGT"... :D

Springs will cost over $200 new. Springs will last a long time so if you can find some used performance springs, get 'em!

Eibach springs go well with GR2's. You don't want to go GR2's and SPT/P1 springs or springs right at the 200lb/in because it'll wear down the GR2 struts a bit, but more so it's not dampen enough.

Lee had KGMM springs that were STRAIGHT from japan. Those where 250lb front and 200lb rear. It was coupled with GR2 struts. It did fine, but it could have been better.

For the street, SPT springs and AGX struts are hard to beat. If you're more hardcore then STi Tarmac springs will be a lot better with AGX struts set to 3/4 or MAX damper setting.
