So I am looking to do something to my 04 rs, maybe as the title says and some suspension work. I do have other things that I would rather spend money on, so I am just wondering what everyone suggests that would be the best possible deal on that kinda stuff.

hmm i am not sure bout the 04s, but i think the RSs have teh 13mm rear swaybar. so a cheap mod would be to get a 20mm rear sway bar off of an 02-03 WRX sedan. i got mine for like $80, and i m very happy.

The RS and WRX use diffrent front swaybars due to the diffrent front crossmember used.
    Sucks huh?

Whiteline stuff is hardcore and pretty cheap. you can get a 22mm for less than $150. Helix is another good brand for cheap.

The helix front bar won't fit. The only one that will is made by whiteline and has to be directly ordered from them. All of the rear bars for the WRX (not STi) will work.

It's not the crossmember thats as much of a problem as the fact that the headers on the RS have different clearance.

actually, this is like pretty much the one thing from a WRX that doesn't fit on an RS.

Every other chassis and suspension component swaps right over. You're not as bad off as you think.
