sitting in the Hospital now waiting for baby to come... will be leaving for a walk in 5 when they stick the needle in her spine... ouch.. Karen has had the last 3 babies with NO pain meds at all.. this time she is screw it... pics to come

yeah I had to run out of work (yes yes yes) and I laughed at the tech higher then me cause its the lube-techs day off, and when the tech above me came in late today I said today you should have slept in... You may be running the lube-rack ha ha ha.. we have a running joke cause on mondays when I run the rack he does a lot fo the work I usually do, tires etc.... its like we are both getting lower and lower on the scale of importance ha ha

The epidural really isn't a big deal at all in terms of witnessing it (it takes skill to do it just right). It is extremely effective at managing the pain however. I was glad my wife opted for it because when the emergency c-section happened, they didn't have to put her under, just upped the dose in the epidural, and go. Got our little guy out much faster and safer that way. Best of luck to ya. But you've been down this road enough times to have some idea what to expect anyhow We've got about 4 more months until we're back in the delivery room.
