Efficiency of a front mounted intercooler with the added benefit
of razor sharp throttle response of a top mounted intercooler.

That looks like its saving 2-3 feet of piping compared to a normal FMIC. So, I'm guessing the throttle response would be somewhere in between.

The whole point of having the turbo mounted up high on a Subaru is to put it close to the IC and throttle body, I think. Some setup where the turbo is down low like that crazy beast fobiawrx is building seems best if you want a giant FMIC. There's not much space down there.

Thats the V Mount set up that was talked about in the FMIC VS. V Mount FMIC thread. The STI Rally car uses that set up. It does create a greater throttle response and greater protection for both the intercooler and the radiator. (that black shield protects the radiator) When the bumper is on its a great sleeper look!!!!

seems super steep, what was the most expensive part? Couldnt you just fab up a radiator mount and use a normal FMIC?

^R&D $$$ and being one of the first in the market...U can Fab it, but would you? By the time your done it will be close to that price anyways...Custom piping, mounts, sizing, etc. Not to mention trial and error
