I'm sure you're aware but an error message appears on tapatalk (iPhone) when you try to send direct message to another member. It says "Service Error, This server has not activated Tapatalk".
Yep, that is on the taptalk side. Hell, android doesn't even have the PC/PM capability unless you look up the user and go the REAL long way. Last time I looked, there is supposed to be a new site side update and a new client side update (both android and ios), but I haven't checked in past couple of weeks. I will dig into a bit more this week and report back my findings. Russ
So you must have received a android update?? Nothing has changed on my end (server side or either of my android devices), so I still don't have PC's yet. IOS has had them for a while. I know that some of the delay was the tapatalk forum were converting over to Xenforo. Russ
I have iOS. Maybe they have been working for a while but I just noticed them yesterday. I know I tried to send a message through TapaTalk last week and it wouldn't work.
yea, IOS has had PC's for a few months, they just had some issues on their end (tapatalk) that caused some problems. Android users still don't have PC's unless you actually search out a person and start a PC. They keep saying that there will be a server update and a huge android update, but everyone is still waiting. Russ
Ok, just a tapatalk update for the android users. The site is running the latest and greatest server side software (1.1.4) and Tapatalk has finally pushed Tapatalk 2 to the android market. With my limited testing this morning it looks like PC's are now working. I did get a couple of FC's while running it, but that is a android software issue. So if you run into anything weird, let me know and I can pass it on to the tapatalk people. Russ
