..and last, but not least I'd like to welcome a new Event Master, our very own Tim Anderson (Tim The Plumber)

MNSOC will be serving lunch to raise funds for a very special little girl!

Her name is Kira Roberts. She's 11 years old and was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. She had a tumor removed from her neck a few months back and is now just starting to go back to school. So she is on the fast track to recovery!

We need to pool together not only as a club, but as a community to help ease the stress of the piling medical bills. So please remember to give, and give generously.

They also have a fund set up through USBank if anyone wanted to make a donation that way. It can be made at any USBank location under the name of Kira Roberts.

As an added bonus, Kira and her family will be at this event!

Just look for the MNSOC sign around lunch time. Our fearless event master, Tim the Plumber, will be sure to point you all in the right direction.

    Food will be:
    Brats
    Hot dogs
    Chips
    Soda/water
Potato Salad (NO choice of potato fyi )

I will NOT want to take IOU's. So please remember that.

Kira's family, The MNSOC Officers, MNSubaru Moderators, MNSubaru Admin, and the Event Coordinators all thank you for any and all support!

I'm in! New venue? Heck yeah! New event master? As long as Da Plumber doesn't go flashing around his trademark, it should be a good time (unless you're into crack).

I would say mostly it's like the Pease site. It's grass with some small bits of gravel.

If you drive by the site, it's the parking lot to the west of the track. It's a grass field that's been packed down a little bit by all the years of having spectator cars parked on it.

Does that kind of sum it up Grandpa Dave?

results will be delayed at last a few more days (unless someone else does them and sends them to the scca-lol webmaster). Life's been less than pleasant the last couple of weeks.

    Update

We visited with the property manager and checked out the site again on Friday, it's going to be an exciting venue. The property is already drying out with only a few snow banks remaining.

Raceway Park is also very excited about the opportunity to work with the Land O' Lakes Region of the SCCA and collectively we hope to make this event a stepping stone for bigger and better opportunities for our region!!!

This is going to be so much fun!!!!!!

No worries, no oil cooler install so it should take less than a day.

lol, seriously tho, enlisting chuxticles for wiring and swap help. Might need your engine stand tho tall dan... I'll trade you for some AS tires.

Dave, I'll sign up as soon as my scca membership renewal shows up. Don't wanna burden registration folks with that again.

Yes you need to bring hand held FRS (AKA walky talkies) so when you are on course you can call in hit cones and help with communication from from timing and scoring.

I'm really looking forward for this everyone sign up!! we are fast approaching April 3rd. We have a great location probably one of the best courses we will see all year!

I might be in. big question for me is tires. Do you think that this course would be manageable with summer tires (RT-615s)? I really dont want to ruin my Hakkas by running them on gravel on a hot day.

Last event we had almost 40 I believe. Mostly Subarus, but there are a variety of makes and models out there ranging from mr2s, to vws. The audi participation seems to have dropped off.

Check out the website for more details about past and future events:

    Thanks for the info.

Make sure that whatever helmet you get is SNELL 2005 or better so that you can use it for a few years. I made the mistake of not checking when purchasing a helmet and now I can't use it for anything.
