Orr Autosport will host a Tech Session at 12:00 Noon on April 4, 2009 for the North Star Chapter with gathering starting at 11:00am. The Session will run about two hours. A grilled lunch will be provided. This year Chris Orr will be discussing the design philosophy behind their new project, the Orr Tuned E92 M3. Chris will also share practical tips on how to get the most out of YOU and YOUR car at the track, proper use of ‘R’ compound tires and the advantages that affordable data acquisition systems provide for driver coaching. And NEW THIS YEAR, Orr service manager, veteran SCCA racer, and all around fun guy Scott Hutchison will decode for you the latest BMW factory information on servicing your car. (If you think the stimulus plan is challenging, you will not want to miss this!) On display will be the Orr Autopsort Porsche 996 GT3 Cup, MINI GPr, E30 M3, E36 M3 LTW and a mysterious 1969 BMW 2002. There is free food so of course I plan to be there. I have a busy schedule this weekend. After this I'll be going to a Tropical Fish expo. And than 2F2F4.
