testing camera set-up for iceraces

    i'm surprised at how sturdy this camera is, now i just need to figure out why it didn't pick up any audio

    nice! that should be alot of fun. can you run an external microphone on it? I would stick a mic right in the engine bay.

    You will have to get a sound recorder then. Run them both then match them up in a editing program. MIC in the engine bay would be kick***

    well this thing should record sound but if i can't get it to work or if it has too much wind noise I'll put another recorder somewhere else. I do have a digital recorder that's small, never used it with a car though

    Hopefully you can figure something out before the ice race. Engine noise is a must in a cool video!

    how does yours attach to the car?



    This is the camera mount I used for all my videos. It installs in only a few sec and can be move all around the car. Its held at speeds over 140mph without any problems.

    basically the same type of suction mount as you posted. suction and a triple jointed arm.

    Sweet!!! just hope you dont go flying in to a snowbank.... i guess it would make for a cool video though.... ;)
