Thank God for Brembos!!!

I missed a deer by less than 6 inches this morning by slamming on my brakes at 70 mph.

its scary ****, that is by far the closest i have ever gotten to hitting one.

I read somewhere in a magazine that it's not the brakes that stops the car. It's the tires. so thank your tires, and your brakes for slowing the car down. nonetheless, i want brembos also.

 

yeah i never made it to a complete stop. just slammed on them. nothing scarier than a deer all of a sudden popping up on the road running infront of you.

 

think about this. If you had hit him you'd have a months supply of Deer meat. At least you wont go hungry.

 

you would be shocked at the amount of times i have heard people say "thank god for brembos!"

Just curious, do you commute from the cities to the land of mustang, monte carlo and grand prix hell or do you live out there?

 

it's both brakes and tires! if you have slick tires and single pot brake, you won't stop for crap!!!

 

i live out there. I live in cokato and comute to hutchinson everyday. funnest cumute ever (mapquest it )

for teh last month i've been dodging phesants, but now deer. hopefully cows aren't next.
