I just wanted to throw a thank you to Scott and the Morries crew for a great car buying experience. From start to finish, it was the most painless car buying experience that I could have hoped for. For those of you who are considering a new or used car, Scott is a vendor on here and a solid guy to work with. The only hassle about the entire deal was waiting for the car to get here from Japan. The financing office was very straightforward and easy to work with (Thank you Tasha) and they'll be getting my business in the future. The fact that we have several members in the Parts and Service department that I trust to take the car to just makes it that much easier, and the dealership has shown support of the club with the meets we've had here makes it a no brainer. Pics to come when I pick up the car tomorrow afternoon, I ordered a 2011 WRX Premium hatch in Satin White Pearl.
Yeah we all owe the peeps at MTKA a lot for all their support of Mnsubaru! Thank You! Enjoy the new ride Brian!
Bought my 2010 WRX from Morries when it was new. Great buying experience and the continued service has been great. Thanks as well. Enjoy the new car!
Congrats Brian! How long before you sell this one then buy it back? +1 for Morries MTKA... we go waaaay out of our way to shop there for parts.
Way to go Brian, I can most definately dig it. Like Sheen said the whole waaay outta the way thing applies to me as well. In fact, I just returned from Morries a few minutes ago. I wanted to peek Brians new ride but I was told something about a "proper" pre delivery break-in being done by anyone who was bored over their lunch hour
Just as long as they put it up on blocks and run it in reverse so the miles come back off I'm all for it Sheen, I give it about two weeks.
I haven't picked up the car yet, I'll be there around 5ish. I will have them up by tomorrow, I have to work until 1:30 tonight.
Thanks guys, I will have more pics up tomorrow. So far I am very impressed with it, I don't have enough seat time to put together a full review yet. I think they got 3 DGM hatches and my white one and all of them were pre-sold.
After 150 miles, so far I am loving the car. The additional track width and wheelbase over my GD wagon are noticeable, it does tend to follow road imperfections more but that was fully expected. The car does feel more planted and stable under cornering, but I'm planning on doing the GT Worx kit in the next few months. The biggest adjustment for me is the engine, I don't know how I went for this long with the 2.0l motor. Even with a tune and turboback on the 2.0l the powerband on this is much smoother and the low end power is amazing. I'm looking forward to seeing it with a reflash and a turboback down the road.
Nice car. I will have AVO TMIC and Invidia catted DP from my 08 for sale sometime next week. Stage 2 is awsome on this car.
Thanks guys! Chris, the STI exhaust finishers should be standard IMO. They really help give some definition to the rear end of the car. Mine were 221.00 according to the window sticker. Well worth it to me, I just thought the back end looked that much better with them. Install should be pretty straightforward.
Congrat's Brian, well deserved. I'm really digging the new look, it really defines the car even more. So when can I catch a ride! LOL Take good care of her as I'll be waiting to see you at an event sometime in the near future so you can show me what this new car's all about....
Looked pretty. What you didn't say was a lot more telling than your actual response when asked if you liked it. Enjoy!
I really like the white, and your exhaust addition is very nice! It is pretty cool what a tune and a DP will do to this car when you are ready to void the warranty.
