    Yea I saw these in a magazine we get at the shop. I'm curious to see if they ever make production.

    Unless they can make those spokes chrome and spin while at a stop it will never happen.:hsugh:

    I have seen development of spike nets for intercepting cars with these and run flats.

    You run over them, the spikes stick in your tires and stop the tires, you come to a stop really fast. :(

    i'd still like to see a Knight Rider style grappling hook that shoots out of the front of the car and sticks in your bumper. That thing was fuggin awsome.

    Welcome to last year..
    The big problem with them thus far, is that their so damn heavy, and require special wheels.

    there was a video of an audi testing this tires out on a track. they are pretty cool. they discuss alot of the handling/driveabiltiy issus int ehmovie.

    Also, who's going to support them. It would suck to have to ship your rims to have them re-treaded vs stopping by a tire shop and getting a new set in a couple of hours.

    thats why it requires a special rim, also when they were testing them there was a big issue with road noise from the tweel
