Meh- not fast enough for me. An STI is faster, you put a front mount and an RS hood on it, remove the rear wing and it's a much better sleeper.
I don't think anything with a Lotus badge qualifies as a "sleeper". I think a stock looking Dodge Caravan with wood paneling that will run 12 sec 1/4 miles is more of a sleeper. Isn't the whole point to be a vehicle that looks slow and boring but isn't? The flared fenders, spoiler and aero kit on that certainly don't make it look harmless. The other term for them is "Q" cars, named after the British "Q" ships that were modified to look like an ordinary merchant ship to draw U-boats close in and then drop false sides and start shelling the crap out of them. Same principle, sucker the other guy in and then blow his doors off.
Well i watched the last Fifth gear and thought this car is pretty sweet. Considering in russia we had opel omegas that looked almost identical to this lotus.
