What is particularly interesting is the elimination of the access plugs to get at the piston pins. The piston and rod are inserted together and the cap is then bolted on. I'm guessing that with a symmetrical connecting rod, that is not possible. No highly built gas engines off of that platform, unfortunately.
could always maybe import it maybe? not sure how that would go that would make for an interesting build......
