    Hi,
anybody know the difference between the 2002 wrx sedan and wagon bumper?
are they swappable to each other?
I'm more concerned of the front bumper

I know the vents are different like Bielke55 said, I also think they are a little wider due to the sedan fender flares.

If you're doing a front end swap, I believe you'll need a new bumper beam, bumper, and fenders.

    hey,
can you help me modify my bumper beam to piece in an 02 wrx wagon front bumper onto my car.
i'm fine in welding new bolt mounts on the car.
and possibly, carving the sides to fit in smoothly with the fenders.

I might also need to tweak down the front frame.
its already been in an accident.
i'm selling the car in another thread, but if i can fix it for a good deal,
    i'm keeping my car,

Might need help just knowing the type of metal the front bumper beam is made off,
    is it weldable.
does the metal weaken if it's bent a bit too much.
    type of recommended drill.
any pictures or links for information,
and it would be great if someone can link me to a link that shows me the setup.

You do realize that by the time you go through all the stuff you'll need to do to try and get it to work that you're going to be out more time and money?

Buy a sedan bumper. They're wider because the sedans have fender flares up front. The wagons do not, so they're narrower. Unless you have a way to stretch plastic, it's not going to work. Any "fix" you do to try and alleviate this is only going to look like crap. A new bumper from Morries Mtka isn't that much money, and I'm sure there are plenty of wrecked Subarus out there that have decent silver front bumpers you can buy. Not to mention your insurance company may not like you modifying anything bumper related, as it's part of the crash structure.

In short, a wagon front cover won't work on a sedan.

Thanks brian, As much as I want to keep my subaru, and yes, i want to keep it, I need to repair the front as efficient as possible.
There is a $150.00 white subaru impreza wrx 2002 wagon front bumper on minnesota craigslist.
I would like to grab that cause of the cheap price, but just wondering if its worth the effort to get it placed onto my car
insurance company gave me back my car as salvage title a few days ago so The car is as is as is right now.

Price of a new bumper for minnetonka oem subaru would be appreciated.
    metal bumper too.
    thanks mn subaru

Why not just PM either Erik or Brian (or post in the Mtka Morries thread) for a price?

I've noticed that you keep asking us in your threads to provide you with links, prices etc. Shouldn't you be doing that on your own?

IIRC I only paid between 160 and 180 for a new bumper from Morries last winter.
