Sweet, nice job with the new thread. So this will be a nice little spot for us to all see what's going on! I will be going along with three of my friends from school up here at UND. Really looking forward to the whole experience. I went to Ultra last year and had the time of my life @thomas franz says EF is better, so we will just have to wait and see. This will be my friends and my first time at EF, so any pointers are greatly appreciated. I've gotten several already that have been super helpful for planning already. I'm huge into making promotional videos and that sort, so I'll be bring equipment for that around the campsite, and a GoPro3 for in the actual festival. Hope to see you all out there!
1)Set up your itenerary of bands that you want to see. 2)pace yourself and stay hydrated!! 3)sleep when you can! Music goes until like 7am! 4)bring food and water with. They have a great selection for food vendors, but it adds up quick and makes for a spendy weekend! 5)they have shower trailers for like $5/shower, medical tents, ice trailers if your beer gets warm, and a pond/lake to dip in if you are needing to cool off. 6)main thing...be smart, be responsible! Don't overdue the partying. You don't want to leave the grounds early in an ambulance and miss out on what you paid for! 7)have a blast! Weekends there are so much fun!!! Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!
We I have a 2 to 4 foot extension pole for your go pro if you need! We have quite a few people going, in our group we have 2 cars and 4 people with the option of a 3rd car and 3 more people but they kinda suck haha. Are you guys taking your subies?
Yeah, I would say people are not getting what they think they are more than 50% of the time at festivals. And the RC's people are selling are unknown and often dangerous. Last year at electric zoo there were a few people who died and many people hospitalized (and a ton more who never got treatment) from exactly that. Festivals are awesome but they also attract a lot of shady people trying to make a buck. And there are also people who just don't know any better.
