Lets see some pictures of the amazing things you have done with Duct Tape.

For starters this little POS was bothering me. the hose kept slipping off the IC giving me bad vacuum leaks. after I though all was lost I spotted Duct Tape. and viol la.

Hmm, I've used pop rivets, zip ties and aluminum foil tape on my car, but no duct tape (yet...).

Damn, so many applications that I didn't take any pics of!

Pic 1.)Couple pics that I do have were from the fab up of my SPT short ram air box.
First came the mock-up version which involved cardboard(DiGiorno's pizza box) and...you guessed it! Duct tape! ((Far right in the first pic.))

Pic 2.)Then there was the second mock up with the light weight trim coil and duct tape.

Pic 3.)The final mock up with the actual 1/8 inch aluminum after it was welded together. Without duct tape, it would have never been!

Duct tape is FTW! And great thread btw Martin!

hehe, yeah I am not normally one to use duct tape on the car. but after taking the TMIC on and off several times over the course of 4 hours trying to make it work duct tape seemed a logical answer. I only have a few small pieces of it elsewhere on the car, mainly covering trim openings so salt does get inside the doors

the tape has not failed. it is the area where there is no tape that has failed (where hose connects to turbo)

When it goes wrong just apply duct tape.

For example when your girlfriend nags apply the duct tape to the problem area and it's fixeded for you.

I could ask our warehouse guy if we have some. If it's duct tape, we normally have it. All types. Could get you some maybe...to make everything under the hood match! Lolz.
