got tired of the crappy deck I was using (came out of a box in the basement) and bought the cheapest mp3 cd player that Best Buy sells. It doesn't exactly fit but I did my best

And then it needed more bass! So with the help of a power inverter, and some patch cords, I added my bass amp:cool:

mp3 deck would be sweet. My old FHI tape deck doesnt hardly cut it anymore :)

What size power inverter did you go with? Must be fairly beefy as that stage monitor draws so me seriouse amps doesnt it?

Also I cant help but notice the guage cluster under your deck; what all is there?

I'd like to check out your wagon some time; not many of us oldschool subaru owners on here :D

    Peace

it's a 175 Watt, 350 Watt Peak, inverter, it's actually pretty basic, I bought it to power my laptop on our road trip to wyoming.

As for the gauges, those are just Oil Pressure, Voltage, and Coolant Temp as those (along with the gas) went out on the dash and I haven't found a new module (someone on USMB has one) to replace it.

    I'D BE CAREFULL.
the bass amp is probobly a 2 ohm unit.

you could fry your new headunit's amp.

/edit, heh wait your running the bass amp off of a powerinverter through the cig lighter?

    hehe brave man.
