Well, let's start one. Everyone post pics of their "wint4r beater". Let's see all of the turds that will be running around town for the next 7 months.


I just bought mine today. A 1997 Grand Prix GTP. I know some will be disappointed in me, but i couldn't pass up on the deal that i found on t3h craigslist.

2 superchargers FTW.

 

Thats why I bought a subaru. It is my winter beater.

 

By the looks of it you must have stock in Eaton

ha, i have invested in eaton..... Wish they were both turbos.

I'm ditching the cobra's Stock Eaton for a Kenne Bell 2.6 Liter this winter for my lil project. The GTP won't have a single mod done to it to preserve its winter-beatability.

if/when the snow get's too deep for the lowered loyale, I'll just pull out the blue wagon. haven't found snow deep enough to get it stuck yet!

My SRT-4 was damn fast, until it snowed. Then I could barely get up a hil. Damn part throttle boost!

 

same here. i now have 2 subie for twice the winter pwnage. gonan try to use the brat mainly for winter, with the impreza in the bull pen for the ice race ;-)

 

Warranty, Its all under warranty baby! When the car gets to the point of leaving the bumper to bumper warranty...no way am I keeping it! Than its time for a new one!

 

Ehhhh. If you put all-seasons on it and drive it carefully, it's fine.

I've got a set of white 15" 6-hole alloys with Blizzak's on them for eventual use...

...but no salt touches my new(ish) baby until the Crapice is DEAD.

 

Who did you get your caprice from?

I swear I met the old owner of that years ago online. Kinda a weird looking dude. That paint job isn't the sort of thing you forget.:laugh:

 

I've owned it for a long time, and it was a baby-blue unmarked St.Paul police cruiser before I bought it. I designed the stripe scheme and picked out the colors myself.

I am kinda weird-looking, so maybe the guy you met was... me? I drove it up to Firestone last winter to give away my stock Suby parts (intake, exhaust, rotors)...

 

lol you are running the REVO 1s on the matrix with e RS wheels? things gonna have whell gap like a ham sandwich.

 

i haven't taken delivery yet. Waiting for the lein release from the guy's bank. pics will be up asap...

 

No way turbo AWD could sit through the winter! When it rusts out I'll go to the west coast and get another
