in its place... but why you ask? that should explain it and thats not even all of them...I have a problem, at least i can admit it! Thats not the only reason but its one. I have only received two tickets which is not a big deal but its time for a change and this is it!
Good luck with the dirt bike. I got out of it for the same reason you got out of street bikes. All the cool places we used to ride all got closed down, and the DNR is over you like flies on ****. Now that atv's and bikes sell about 250,000 a year, the trails are PACKED. Hope you like to ride tracks. Russ
haha looks like now you understand why I don't ride street bikes anymore. they're a lot of rope to hang yourself with. Although I am kinda looking at an F4i right now...
Nice! I'm trying to figure out my best way back into bikes...I'm thinking the new Aprilia SXV or a KTM super motard...best of both worlds, well at least streetable anyway.
I've been pulled over once on my SV. I had my visor up and no sunglasses on (had been sitting at a light for a long time in the heat, and forgot to put the visor back down). The cop was a great guy, he checked my license and then came back and joked with me a bit and then told me I was cool to go. I had a cop blip me last night for 43 in a 30. He was parked on the back side of the road over a tall right turn, I was just leisurely riding through some twisties and BAM there he was lazering me. Thought for sure I was busted. He just blipped his lights, put his hand out the window and made a slow down motion, and let me be. Waiting for bigger fish, or perhaps, he was a fellow rider. I think its all about the type of bike you're riding, and what you're doign on the bike thats calling attention. Just my .02. PS, I hit 10,000 on the bike last night. woot.
