recently my GF car had a break in, and i was woken up to her very upset at 6:30 am (wich isnt really my time of the morning). Notice he CD player is intact, and she also had a bunch of cds laying around that were untouched. I figure they just wanted the airbag to sell or replace theirs cuz the got in a fender bender and set off the airbag. Its unfortunate that the car had to go out that way, since we could have gotten more from it in working condition. But on the plus side.......i dont have to clean all that brake dust off the rear rims . Im hoping that we can get her a late 90's subaru sometime soon. See you later GSR

Getting an airbag stolen totals a GSR?!? Wow. And I thought Pontiacs were cheap.

That itself didnt total it, but it pushed it over the edge. it needed more work then it was worth. Plus theres only so much you can do from the parking lot of an apartment :p

I wish the airbag explode on them when they're taking it out. That'll be cool.

Sorry to hear about this. I had my 95 Delsol Stolen 2days b4 my 2nd payment. That sucks!!!

Wonder why they just don't take the whole car. Those cars are so easy to steal.

If insurance did take the car; how much is it to buy the car back?

Wait a min... The car is a B18C1 and all they took was the steering wheel with the airbag? These are some idiots!

This is why I sold my 95 integra ls se and got me a subie. They took my gsr blades, leather seat, aem intake, ecu, my amp that didn't work. gave me 2900 minus the 500 for the car brought it back for 660, spend about 600 to replace all parts and kept the rest.

WRXs get stolen around here, but not like the Hondas do.

Define cheap, because the 02-03 WRXs are definitely in that category now.

When i bought my 04 STi 3 years ago the price difference between the STi and an Evo was a pretty big difference (you get what you pay for). I guess I havent reaserched it as of late, But one would assume that if baseline price is higher on the suby that come resale time that it would remain above the Evo. But yes i agree that the early 2000 Subys are definatly in the affordable range, but its easy to look at a car thats almost 8 years old and call it cheap...lol
