Perusing Craigslist, I stumbled across a couple of cars priced lower than they should be. Found out why in short order. Scary. http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/ctd/870034647.html http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/ctd/870033923.html http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/ctd/868242915.html http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/ctd/866141593.html
Are there really that many people out there taken in by this guy, even with all of the crap readily available online? A quick google search returns all sorts of negative responses.
I think you can make a CL "ad" that says "Anything from WMC is a scam. He sells salvaged title Subarus. And he is a poor mechanic. Search Google for more info. This guy has been doing this for a long time."
I acually sent him an email on the wagon a week or so ago and he said it wasnt a salvaged title but refused to provide the vin number. lawllllzzz
When I see those kind of ads I usually don't pay them much mind. Not to mention that they sink to the bottom very quickly. I just feel a little wrong flagging for "spam", but I guess it's better than that guy getting to scam another person.
i've always though it'd be fun to have a group of us head down there to check out a car, and then point out every little things that off or wrong
fist off, what does WMC stand for, and what is the history that you guys know so much about that i am missing. because i went and checked http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/ctd/870033923.html this car out and drove it and everything, he gladly gave me the VIN what shady activity did i not see?
oh wait ****....it was a different car.. sorry EDIT. but i still want to know my other questions above.
http://www.mnsubaru.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16470&highlight=wmc I have the feeling it would take all day
http://mnsubaru.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16470 You won't have to read far to get the picture. Scary.
world motorcars or something? I don't think they ever stopped--I have been seeing their ads for a long time.
I've seen their ads now for the last few months for sure because i've been on CL and search "subaru" everyday a few times a day. (looking for new winter/DD car)(finally found one) His ads are easy to spot because the Location is usually always "SAINT PAUL" and the cars and product is always underpriced and he usually has a really cheezy ad, and lastly it always says "ask for david". I'm curious does he deal with other cars or just Subaru?? Because if he does then there should be other of his ads on CL, but i never see them. I usually flag a few of his because i don't want someone to get scammed.
ahha as my pursuit for a new wrx, he has been getting on my nerves and taking up space on there!! i just know not to click on the the all caps subarus that are in st paul..
