That video did a really good job of showing just how well they built that car. For such a narrow and tight course the Stig barely had to make any corrections, transitions between throttle and brake was seamless and weight transfer from left to right was smooth. The ride quality looked pretty comfortable as well. I was looking for some understeer but really didn't find any, the first "S" section looked like a possibility but it looked more like a setup for the right hander. Now if only we had something like that available here from the factory I might just go out and buy me another Subaruuuuu. LOL Thnx for sharing, I enjoyed that!

    Well, of course not.

To be honest, it's kind of an odd car. Think about it, an 'STi Cosworth'. Subaru lets their in house tuning arm do their magic, and then, because their magic isn't strong enough, Subaru send it to a second tuning firm to work their more powerful magic on it. Now, I could understand it if Cosworth were buying factory fresh STis, doing their thing, and then selling them on (a bit like Litchfield does), but these cars will be available straight from the Subaru dealerships. Like I said, it's just a bit of an odd arrangement.

Stooo - any idea who was involved with which aspects of developing this car? By any chance would you happen to find a video of them doing the same test going downhill, that might show a different side of the car if any.

Hill Plummets ? I guess that would be an interesting counter point to the more traditional Hill Climb type of event :p

The car is very, very new, so this kind of info/video is just starting to emerge. I'll be sure to post anything interesting up as and when I find it.
