    A friend of mine stopped over this weekend with a thermal camera to help me assess the heat loss in my home, and I thought I would take a picture of our cars as well.

    No, he is an engineer for some company. He uses the cameras to assess buildings and stuff.

    No, the floors were obsorbing the heat from of underneath the cars. The "warm" colors are just exagerating the heat difference. The floor was about 0 degrees I'm guessing.
