http://www.erxmotorpark.com/ You guys that went to the rally North of Elk River were right there. Last night on my way home from work they had the machines sitting there and some snow on the ground. This morning the lights were on and they were blowing snow at 5am. Should look cool on the way home.
I saw this on sunday night too. Saw lights and snow flying in a big arch. I was wondering what that was.
It's about time something like this got built near the metro area. I bet that place will be packed year round -- assuming it doesn't get shut down for noise reasons.
Depending on the surroundings of this place, the sound could be kept minimal. It is good to see something like this opening up though.
Buck Hill is making snow as fast as they can! I know its not much of a mountain but its still fun to have someplace to ski, board, or tube nearby.
What makes you think that? I'm not saying it's not possible, just wondering what caused you to think that?
I looked at that, and I think you're off. The buildings they show in a different color on the NW corner of the park are the buildings in the SE corner of the intersection with 169, so the paved section is just across the street from the VFW. I had talked with the landowner there about using the property next season, and clearly, if it was being paced, that wouldn't work, and I think he'd have mentioned it
