    Not even close. That is sooooo badass its not even funny. I read about it in Grassroots. Purpose built car for autocross, and they changed the rules on him while he was building the car, lol.

    It essentially is an open wheeled car with a body on it.

    I agree with this guy, i cant imagine driving it . it would be glued to the track for sure.

    those slicks on the front tires are nuts...is everything reversed in japan? FWT-FTL

    that car wold be fun...but that engine would be more fun on a vehicle with 2 wheels

    He used that motor due to the power in an extremely light weight package. He put it in that spot to keep the polar moment of inertia as low as possible.

    Next week I can scan the article.

    He did a fantastic job on the layup. I would have put a layer of aramid in with it for some toughness.

    Yus, purpose-built cars are cool.

    The ridiculous wings are to make some downforce in the low speeds of autocross. No flaming on that from me.


    Add a turbo to that busa motor and that thing would be scary. The power those motors can make on stock internals is disgusting. Let alone a decent bottom end....
