Can you even register a car in most states these days with only a Bill of Sale... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2007...ewItemQQptZUS_Cars_Trucks?hash=item2c53001789
Hah, nice hood alignment. First thing I noticed was the gap over the headlights. Edit: Maybe this was Taras' (almost) first car? Heh.
fill me in im lost... :ugh: what is so weird or dumb about this ebay ad?? that it was stolen and will only get a bill of sale, no title?
That is definitely not a full sti interior, as advertised. You can tell the front and rear bumpers were repainted. ~Dan
A company in STP (formally World Motor Cars, now Elite MotorSport), specializes in poorly put together branded title cars. I was just implying that he cannot move his junk on CL so he moved to ebay. This one had some bodyline issues in addition to the lack of a title (wasn't sure if you could still register a vehicle in MN with just a Bill of Sale anymore). It might be Taras' car lol I forgot what he was supposedly buying from him and don't care to look.
That car screams fishy. 1. That many dents on a <10,000 mile intercooler? 2. Pieces of an STI interior 3. 2006 stereo in a 2007? Headlights and tails are 2007 tho, albeit probably aftermarket. 4. No sideskirts, so its actually a TR as well. I'd avoid like the plague.
Here is the history.... http://mnsubaru.com/forums/showthre...otorcars-Corp-READ-WHOLE-THREAD&highlight=wmc
This was the response I got when I asked them a few questions. And it is a TR (according to the eBay autocheck). I am unsure of how to obtain a title for the vehicle, hence the sale. The turbo, intercooler, grilles, air intake, hood, and rear spoiler were stolen. The front bumper was damaged but repairable. -coyote24mn
ugh damn u who ever posted that link to that very long thread lol. i sat hear and spent the whole day reading it and now i feel to but it blankly like a retarded fish frog(to quote mr garrison from south park)
I do wonder if the stock STi's that's been getting stolen are in connection to those he sells. I know he sell other broken Subarus and has parts around from what I hear. So far the stolen Subaru STi's I've heard of getting stolen are stock and very close to stock condition.
Yeah. Even in this case, it sounds to me like he (WMC) bought a car that was stolen and never recovered by the original owner. If the car was auctioned or something similar, it should have a salvage title reissued.
