So yesterday night after I picked up my brz later that night my dad informed me that my third brake light doesn't work. I checked the wires they are all good, thought about bulbs but they are led's. The car is still under subaru factory warranty and I've never had a car under warranty before so is this something they would fix or replace? Anything else I should check to before I bring it in?

Did you check your fuse box?

Since you just got the car, it should be covered.

I haven't checked the fuses yet but the taillights work. I bought it from a ford dealership so does it matter what subaru dealership I bring it to? Was thinking the one in brooklyn park!

I would suggest Morries Minnetonka but Brooklyn Park will probably do fine.

That IS covered under your warranty, I'd make a appointment asap. Let them know that it's a safety issue, and they may not make you wait two weeks to get an appointment. It's probably something simple anyways. I've seen failing brake light switches do this.
