on the 18th, i posted my time without nitrous... if gadiel can take build a guy a stock block sti that does 10's... this motor will handle the 200 shot

thank you! i know the nitrous is kinda a cheesy way to get power.. but in less than a month my car will have a fully built motor with a GT40R... should be one of the fastest STis around the midwest... at least i'm hoping

hmm... sorry to tell ya joe, but you got ripped off. your 200 shot of nitrous only gave you 176 hp. false advertising, i would ask for you money back.

 

the shot of nitrous is indicative of the nozzle jet size... it's not necessarily a direct measure of HP gain.... learn before posting

Oh, btw Nitrous isn't allowed at either gingerman on track or an autocross. Do you remove it from your car first?

Joe in the past has been a total jackass.. me and him went at it pretty hard one evening... we both apologised and I have seen that he has actually genuinely made an effort to be 'normal' on here for the last month or so... now everyone else are being arseholes... sorry.. yes... most are... so maybe he DESERVED it back then... but you kow what people... we as a club need to grow up and stop being NASIOC to everyone...

The problem is that in person, he's a totally normal guy, on the internet he cannot stop self fellating about his car (nobody cares, its nice but he lies about his setup always), his street race wins (nobody cares except him), his racing experience (far too young to have real experience) or denegrates someone else's car/expereinces etc.

If he could just make one post that has nothing to do with the minor aspect he just changed on his car, how great his car is, how awful someone else's car is or how he beat some guy in a street race or could beat someone else's car in a street race then I wouldn't give him so much flak, and probably everyone else (can't speak for them" would back off considerably too.

Just search threads he has created in the last 3 weeks. All of them about his car (or plans to add retardedly expensive junk to it) or street racing or just stirring the pot.

 

Zak, although I'm rolling with you on the same ball, but I'm sorry... I must disagree with the idea that Joe shouldn't come here to talk about his mods and his future mods. Each and every member has to right to post what they will on this forum. I see no problem with him posting about his modifications or anything car-related. I'm just responding because I don't want others to feel that the rule on MNSubaru is to not talk about your car and your mods. The statement just goes against the idea of a MNSubaru forum.

 

I may not be very active or popular on these forums, but correct me if I'm wrong... Isn't this mnsubaru.com??? I believe it's a "car" forum, where people come to talk about their cars and future mods and if they are dumb enough to street race, their experiences. Unlike mnsportcompacts.net, this forum does not have a rule about talking about street racing. Any negative comments should either be kept to themselves or sent in a private message. I had a similar experience that got me really mad at this forum, before I went to Michigan, I simply asked who had the most powerful 2.0 in the area and I was attacked saying I was bragging by a couple members. I think some admins need to step up and do what they are meant to do.

 

its due to the heads and low rev limiter. The jdm STis will run 11's with 350ishwhp. the gearings on the STi are short and with a low rev limiter, it doesn't allow it to hold boost. too much shifting loses time as well. with the jdm ones being able to rev higher, they are able to hold boost and with their big ported heads, they can achieve fast # with minor mods like the evo.
