Twin scroll turbo good up to 700 crank hp -

Unfortunately, for optimum performance, you'll need their special headers and up-pipe, of course. And then you better have the other supporting mods like fuel pump, injectors, intercooler and forged pistons.

It reminds me of an HKS TO4R variant with a twin entry exhaust housing. I'm sure APS will mark it up nicely. It makes me wonder if APS sells just the headers/uppipe/downpipe for this setup.

They say the kit will cost 2995.00. That includes the turbo, uppipe, downpipe, 44mm wastegate, all hardware and dump tube. You have to purchase there intake and header seperate. Also, they claim this will only work with the APS 3" & 3.5" cat-backs and there fmic which sucks. But ill still probably get it :)

I don't see why you'd have to use their FMIC, any turbo can be rubber hosed to any set of pipes for pretty cheap. I'm sure 't3h PHAT one' could fab you up the elbows needed to mate the Perrin kit to it. Hell, from the looks of it, it appears to be in a very similar position to all the other rotated kits out there. And in my opinion, if the APS catback can bolt up to a stock STi downpipe, then any catback that bolts to an STi downpipe will work. Of course, I don't know if the APS catback bolts right up to an STi downpipe or not. But if it in fact does, there is no reason you couldn't use any other standard fit catback with it.

Agree'd, but if you read the thread on IWSTI or whatever site it is they claim there cat-backs are different. And for the fmic, im sure you could have something fabbed up...

Seems like dirty business if you ask me. But to each their own. I'd hate to have to replace all my parts with new APS stuff because they make things proprietary.

make your own like i am. then you can use whatever you want for other parts. you just dont get that shiney red paint and dont get to say you have aps stuff.
