that is sweet looking. do you have any rubbing in the rear i looks real close. also didnt the RG-2s used to come with a blue lip around the inside?
The rear is touching in that pic. We are going to have to roll the fender a little and raise the rear about an inch. Plus we have to preload the rear suspension about 1/2 inch still. The tire is touching the perch on the Zero 2E's the pre load will fix that.... The front has no issues. The old RG's had the blue stripe. The RG2's don't. new hottness!!
wow those are really nice. looks really sick. and those brakes are not cheap! nice set up, looks good.
That makes me come in my pants.... quite a bit. I like how the sticker is still in the window with all this done.
This thread is worthless without any full body pics!!!! btw any update on when the engine will be done?
Call me out of the loop but... What is this project for? Drag track car? Road course track car? Show car? Looks neat.
Im pretty sure they plan to do it all with this car. Road course, 1/4 mile ect... As for me, dyno queen, weekend skreet ricer to the fullest, and proud of it
To answer everyones question on "when is it going to be done?" I technically have no idea. Most of the parts are here now. The engine was finally delivered to the correct builder for completion (more on this after all is settled) The sleeved bottom end was torn down again because of some advancements in the subaru world. Right now they are waiting for the crank shaft to come back and then they can start on the clearancing of the Valves to the pistons, 14mm head studs, and block pining. Pistons will be coated and then the final assembly. I hope to have the motor back in the next month. We have a motor on the stand for mock up. (Thanks for the heads Russ!!) I am waiting on a couple companies for some flanges. We do have the ability to have them CNC'd but we are exploring other options before we talk to the "CAD" man. The turbo is at deadbolt getting some work done. That should be here in the next few weeks. I have started working on the front end, making room for to goodies. One thing people have to understand is. I have a hard time working on my own car when I have customer cars in the shop. We have a bunch of ling term projects going. Even after a 12 hour work day, I feel guilty working on my own project. I usually come in on Sundays to work on it. This isn't the only personal project I have going right now either. I have another car that is about to come out of the paint booth in the next week, and this one has to get together also. Hopefully with any luck I might have 2 cars ready this summer. I will keep you posted.

I guess I just don't understand why it is taking soooo long to finish such small projects. HaHA
the shell that had been sitting in the shop forever right? NICE!! I am really planing on making it up there for some **** this summer!
So, is it true you intend to actually "use" the car (strip, track, autox, etc)? If so, great, but you have some work to do to avoid rubbing under those loads....
I dont know if the car will be worth a damn for AutoX. But we will see. Short header, 8" of IC piping, twin scroll and headwork might make it possible. But drag and road race for sure. Im not going to dump $80K into a car and not beat the hell out of it!!
