Someone actually did a study that confirmed what many of us already knew. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/32408652/ns/technology_and_science-tech_and_gadgets/
I never put much stock in that media. It just seemed stupid. I do hear that alot of offices are starting to use this though, for inter office communications, and for that application it seems to be a hit.
While I think that MSNBC is also a pile of loose stinking twaddle, I agree that Twitter is a bastion of rarefied idiocy. It is an excuse to be vain. Anybody that twitters is a twit, pure and simple.
Really? lol I prefer emails because it is more traceable, or instant messages. Outlook or Lotus Notes takes care of it. Note that I don't agree with the author of the article, because twitter is for people that need affirmation that their life is worthwhile.
The Irony is, their lives are becoming less worthwhile the more they use Twitter. Usage of Twitter is inversely proportional to life value.
I was expecting to see the word "fixed" in your post, then I realised I had made an embarressing error., maybe I realized a fact everyone else allready knew, whatever. I corrected my error, Thanks!
Exactly. Just like the people that use "status updates" on facebook like twitter. Nobody cares what you are having for dinner, and spending more time writing about it takes away from the time you could be doing something worthwhile. Not to say that spending a bunch of time browsing car forums is worthwhile either :hsugh:
Hey, twithead, I don't think you can say "twatting" .... on the radio, white people allready know what that means.
I agree with Carl, although on a forum like this you get more then 1 line of useless information from the poster
