I was expecting the core to be factory sized, just all aluminum. I was a little surprised nontheless. Mounting it might be interesting, especially for the overflow bottle. I may have to utilise a custom high-performance powerade bottle.

Leini's bottles FTW! although I don't suggest using beer as coolant.

Nothing works better to cool you down on a hot day.

A friend installed the Koyo in his 02 WRX Wagon and didn't have any significant fitment issues. Good luck.

But did your friend have a FMIC mounted in front of his radiator by the headlights? :p

No. He didn't. Which FMIC? What's the status on the bumper beam?

I moved my radiator back about an inch to fit the intercooler, and the beam is fully intact. Now I'm stuffing this hog in there. Space is a little tight. Its gonna work though. I need a couple bolts and I'll be good to go. I had to redo my lower mounting situation.

If it was stock it'd fit like a glove.

Its in, and a pretty tight fit too. I had to completely rework my fan mounting and lower mount situation. Its amazing what one can do with sheet aluminum and a bench vice.

She holds temp now beautifully. The fans are sucking some seriously hotter air through now. That other radiator was complete junk.

Your not kidding about not having much space. Looks like the pulley is almost touching the fans. Did you ever get your wastegate routed to the DP?

    ^ Thank you sir

Wastegate is still an open dump; been too busy dealing with this crap.

I've got about 1/2" to 3/4" all the way around the fans, plus with my Group N engine & tranny mounts I shouldn't have an issue. I still need a decent pitch stop mount though. I was almost this close before when I made that fan shroud. I guess we'll see when I give'er hell.

Looks awesome! I'll probably be getting something similar (as soon as you email me the site you said you found so I can see prices/details...) So now that your car is running cool, are you gonna get on that dump pipe?

If that front mount intercooler doesn't work try to find a Mugen Universal Fogging Kit, it does a great job cooling whatever you want (turbo, axle, hood, rotary arm, tortion control valve)

truly...??? so the intercooler is the same as the KOYO radiator??? is that the same as that 500hp turbo??? should I cool my axles and torsion control valve?? hey how about filling my blinker fluid bottle with nitrous and redbull???

NOS does blink a lot brighter if you put it in your blinker fluid bottle, its a cheap easy way to make it look like you have HIDS. I would advise against Red Bull however, it's a little too acidic and runs the risk of hydro-locking your fog mount pump. Yea if your axles and torsion control valves aren't cooled I would get that checked, you will probably blow a rod gasket soon.
