there is got to be something wrong with that car! 45k and already a new clutch and flywheel? 14k for a car that retail for at least 20k. either scam or clean title my arse!
I think it's just a case of someone wishing to sell their car cheaply and quickly. I don't see a problem with the ad, or any indication that it's a 'fake' ad.
thought it had good potential for you bill. Best of luck on it man. PS, a lot of people dont adjust well to certain clutches, or rev/slip off the line because they were taught to drive the wrong way. They go through a lot of clutches, but its not bad on the car.
I would rather see a clutch replaced then a tranny. to me that is the better way to go if you are driving a car hard. PM sent Jack Hopefully, Drifitn240 can get a hold of the guy and check it out for me. If it looks good, I might be in the cities this weekend. (still need to sell my car though)

I talked to him about 5 min ago. This is what I found out: has an aftermarket clutch that was installed by RS motors in brunsville. It has been stored since November. He is selling it because he is in finacnial trouble. (the car is paid for) The reason the price is so low is to get lots of attention and move it fast so he can get the money he needs to get out of debt and such. He is going to be sending me some pics and I will post them up when I get them Let me know if you can help me out on this by either going to look at it or buying my car so I can buy this one.
I'm in bloomington every day this week bill, Get me his number and an address and I'll take an educated look-see at it. Get his name too. I'll be talking with a couple of guys down at RS motors, and I'll check if they have records of his car being at their shop and what they did to it, and if they remember, what they thought of it and its owner.
