So with the vast amount of swaps and turbos being done, i have decided to experiment with mine and possibly blow my motor(main goal).

as of now I am currently collecting parts so this will be my little thread on my project.

A few questions to most gurus out there. I need fuel! fuel pump is cover but what injectors can be used for my 2000 SOHC motor? If possible are there any other compatable fuel rails such as the wrx? If anyone has a set of wrx/sti fuel rails laying around that i could use to test fit or can guarentee it'll fit, it'll be greatly appreciated.

IIRC the wrx and sti use the same type of injectors as my RS, someone correct me on that? so with the injectors properly seated in the fuel rails, plugging them up shouldn't be an issue.

or if possible if you read this RUSS, can you modify my stock injectors like the wrx ones?

the goal is to throw as much boost as i can to my motor. Im shooting for 10lbs boost.

why do i want to blow my motor? I'm too lazy to work on my car if it isnt' blown....it'll motivate me to put in low Compression pistons or get a ej257.

THINGS i need, if you have PM me:

    - WRX/STi fuel rails with or without injectors but prefer with injectors(test fit)
    - any bellmouth downpipe, preferbly invidia v3+
    - turbo headers
    - up pipes
    - turbo crossmember
    - engine management, pp6/link+ and the likes
    - boost guage, EGT, wideband o2s

i'll think of more as i go or give me a suggestion if you think i need something else i'm missing.

Why dont you just rebuild it and stop being lazy. I bet you your car is gonna be down for like 6 months before you do anything then you're gonna complain and sell the shell and go buy what you always wanted...Mazda Miata...

And No, you're not going to finish this project

***I'm doubting you so you can prove me wrong and start wrenching before I get boost ;)***

yah, the sti and wrx needs the o ring kits to place it in there, but i also read that it doesnt' really properly seat it so when it sprays it doesnt' equally distribute it so i would like to try fuel rails that are made for it.

I still have a custom uppipe which goes from the stock headers to a near stock turbo location. i had nathan make the pipe for me and it is mint shape, heat wrapped an everything. you could use your stock headers then. also any aftermarket DP should bolt up, you may need to persuade your firewall a little to make it fit easier.

^ thats right you have borlas.

i was actually pretty surprised at how well it fit, cuase i was running at stock hieght when i first did it, then i lowered it ~2" on the perchs when it warmed up, and i still did not rub on the axle.
