wo I've got some wheels with old, small tires on them, some new, big (27.5") tires to put on those wheels. Anyone able to get me a deal on this? or know a good/cheap place for tire removal/installation/balancing?

    Thanks!

i have heard some horror stories about sams club. such as lady goes in for a tune up (wants to see what a wierd niose is coming from) guy look sover the car and finds that the DIRECTIONAL tires are rotating in the WRONG direction. tires were installed at sams.

    just one of many stories.

pro - tire in long lake or maybe truxstore

Well, I won't have them installing the tires, just mounting them on the rim, I want to do the installing to make sure I don't have to pound/cut to make them fit.

I'll call around tomorrow, and hopefully get them put on in the afternoon, then I may or may not drive it out to firestone (depending on a few things....) but definately before the drive up to Duluth

    And 27"s are small!

$255 for 4 new 29" Liberator ATs, 4 dismounts, 4 mounts, 4 balasnces, and 4 valve stems including tax. All at Wal-Mart

yes, but these 27"s were free! my uncle had them from their old Astro Van, they were brand new when they had to sell the van so he kept the tires, and now they are/were just taking up space on his shelf, all I have to pay for is mounting, then when these wear out, I'll have saved up (and done enough other work on the car to make it worth it), to buy super swampers! }:)

And, just a neat tidbit....as I was asking around, the Truxstore in long lake doesn't do their own mounting, they take it to pro-tire aswell
