I'm looking for someone to mount a set of tires at a reasonable price for me. I have heard that there might be someone on the board close to the EP area that could help me out. I am fed up with paying 100+ to tire shops for mounting tires when most of the time they end up screwing it up anyway. The last time I had tires mounted they scratched my just powdercoated rims and mounted one tire backwards, causing me to have to take that rim and tire back and have them scratch the wheel somre more. There's a shout out to west bloomington Goodyear for you!

Anyway if someone can throw me a hookup, a person who could mount my tires that gave a crap would be a nice change.

Jeff does the alignment and mounting work for pretty much the entire Autocross community in Minneapolis.

I've worked with Jeff before, he aligned the car that I am putting the tires on, but last time I tried to contact him via email and phone I got no response and ended up going to goodyear. Does anybody know of a person in the southeast metro other than Jeff?

Don't email Jeff. He's not a super-online type guy. Call the shop at 952-888-0800. Or you can PM him at the mnautox.com forums, which he scans pretty regularly.

This is the beginning of his busy season, however.

What size tires? I could probably help you out, but the tire machine I have access too is old and kinda sucks for low profile applications. I was able to do mine though, 225/45/17 without scratching anything...so it can be done..

Discount Tire effed up one of my rims (they did however man-up and replaced it). I have been going to Samaritan Tire in Minnetonka and have been happy so far. I always tell a shop up front that I am a fussy phucker and I don't like to have my $h!t ruined.
