so i finally have everything now...well...not the lug nuts(on their way)..but wheels and tires i have mounted and balanced...wheels are 18"x7.5" Offset:40...tires are kumho ecsta asx 225/40/18....so my question is

what tire pressure should i use...??..i've looked and everyone has their opinion...what do you guys with similar specs run..??

and what torque do you guys have for an aftermaket rim...??..everyone has their opinion on this one too...i see 66lbs all the way up to 75lbs...what the best that will not strip the studs and still drive well...???

side note...i have eibach pro kit if that affects anything...

tire pressures on the door are for stock wheels and tires. I'd start at 30 psi and see if you get any sidewall rollover, if you do up the psi by 1-2 psi and go from there. Performance tires have wayy stiffer sidewalls and will perform differently under the same conditions as all seasons.

On my ASX's i run 50-51 lbs of air pressure (tire max) so that i get the best mpg when i feel like giving it i usually drop them by about 5-7 lbs. Although the stick pretty well at 50 lbs.

Holy **** ! I run 47F/45R in my Azenis at AutoX events. I can only imagine that having pressures that high on the streets must be like driving on balloon tyres. Boing !

Do you have a nice flat spot all along the center of your tread ?

I run my stock Potenza RE92s at the tire max of 44 psi. still a nice flat tread, and reviews on Tire Rack says that's the best way to get the most mileage from the tire. Hate the tires, but I don't have the cash to buy new ones yet.

Most lug torque is between 60-80 lb.
