Just curious as to where some of you guys buy your tires. I have always used discount tire since they're pretty cheap but due to recent events I will no longer do business with them.
+1 for Justin at Vision Speedworks. Think of him as the NF Performance of tires. He is a local 1 man operation. Offers full service, including tire shaving. Competitive pricing, and all around good guy.
Yeah I found that out the hard way. They cross threaded 4 lug nuts and to make a very long and stupid story short my reimbursement for getting them fixed was 120 dollars short. Apparently this tire salesmen who told me he knows nothing about cars is secretly a mechanical expert. I complained to the bbb so hopefully I'll get that money back
Wouldn't hold my breath. I've found the quickest way to a solution is sadly post Om companies Facebook wall with your story pictures as much documentation as possible.
Yeah I'm not. Manager 1 tells me to go get the work done and bring a receipt and manager 2 tells me they won't cover the full cost, all while manager 1 is behind him avoiding me and refusing to talk to me. Doesn't get greasier than that lol.
