So I've got the factory 15" steelies on my Legacy with some newish Eagle GTs of some sort on it (I forget exactly what). The factory hubcaps are intact and look decent enough, but I'm kinda thinking I'd like some alloys for it for summer use. Are there 15" factory alloys for the 3G Legacy that look decent? In a perfect world, I'd pick up some decent factory alloys to preserve appropriate offset, move the Goodyears to the alloys, and get some Winterforces for the steelies. Or should I just shoot straight for something else wheel-wise? On a sidenote, TireRack tells me it's a 5x100 with a 43mm offset, is that correct?
There are many fitment threads. (too many IMPROPER ONES) http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=450557 Offset depends on the width of the wheel. Get some 16" aluminum wheels for summer. There are much better tire choices in 16" or 17" than in 15" Just my 2 cents.
if your trying to go down the cheap path, you can pretty easily scoop up some stock WRX wheels for a couple hundred bux... looks is personal opinion. Eli is right though, many many more tire options in 16/17
I have a set of sabb 9-2x wheel just sitting around. There just about the same as stock wrx wheels. They just look different. 16x6.5 and 5x100. I ran them for one winter. There just like new. They will not clear my 4pots so I don't run them any more. This is a pic of one of them.
what year legacy is that?? I don't know legacy generations. There are okay looking 15" alloys that came on 90's legacies, they are a 5-spoke design and are pretty easy to find for ~$200 a set at salvage yeards. or just get oem 16" wheels like the legacy GT "snowflakes" or wrx rims that are always for sale on forums like this.
I can't view the classifieds yet!!! :emo: Oh yeah, it's a 2000 Legacy L. Non-turbo, bone stock, so I'm not lookin for anything extravagant...
I have two pretty decent shape forester XT wheels (2004 style) if you were to find two more you would be set. $20
Stuff! Whuddup man, it's PAPP from the MNSBR forums. I didn't know you drove a Subie! Heck yes. Looking at some Snow's and STeelies for my 05 LGT. Word.
