Whats there to do or see and eat in Indianapolis? Anyone ever gone to the Subaru plant down there and can say how it is and if it's worth the trip? Planning on going there this Spring for my B-day but if it's not worth it and nothing to really do down there, I'll plan something else
That's our facing warehouse, you could see all the parts and lick them before they are delivered to me.
I went their a few years back right before they tore down the RCA dome and before Lucas Oil Stadium opened and I must say it was boring. I did not have any tips or the "buzz" on all the cool spots though. Isn't spring time when the Indy 500 is?
Is there a reason you are choosing Indianapolis? It's like any other big city you will have a section of hot spots downtown, a zoo, museums, parks etc......but in my limited time spent there the town was kinda a dump. I'd go for the Indy 500 or Moto GP races again but even for those I'm not going outta my way to go back. Oh and I'm not sure what many of the people there would be called but it's some sorta redneck-hillbilly-ghetto-midwesterny-inbred-southern type thing all in one(yep, it's kinda strange)
Really only going just to take the free tour of the Subaru plant down there and decided to check out the city when I was done there too. Idk, maybe I'll plan something else then, whose been to Cedar Point and is it worth the trip? Looks like some fun roller coasters
Cedar Point is/was awesome. For 5 years as a kid I grew up 2 hours north in MI and going to Cedar Point was the thing to do especially during spring break. This was over 15 years ago though, so I have no idea as of now.
