My current summer shoes are 17x7.5 Bronze Volk CE28. I've always wanted the OZ Superleggra III 3 piece. I have a chance to even trade with the guy with a set of leggra III in 19x8.5. He states that his set is as flawless as mine. What to do. Pros: 19" will look better on the bulky wagon color of wheel will match the car a lot more Cons: He lives in Florida. No real way to confirm actual condition of the wheels the inner is forged but it still weighs 15-20 lbs more then the CE28
whats replacement cost when a pothole eats a 19" i do like the bronze of your 17's and the wheel imo is a bit cleaner, the oz's are a little busy for my tastes. since you've always wanted them though, i say swap and get it out of your system. edit: also just saw where you said it weighs 15-20lbs more per wheel, that is a lot of unsprung weight to add.
where in FL??? also very very valid point on the potholes... The XT is your DD correct??? Are the tires in the same condition or are you dismounting before shipping?
19s are too big, IMO. I also think the Volks are a better looking rim. Never liked the look of three piece wheels. All the bolts make it look cluttered. Also, bronze on black FTW. In summary, don't do it.
19"s are wayyyyy wayy to big for a subaru imo.. i had 18"s with jdm front brakes and they still looked rediculous.
where in FL is this dood located? i got family down there and they can probably go check it out if not too far for them. LMK
Dont know where exactly in fl but I will find out. Wheels will keep tires on. He has 85-90% tread left. Itll defi make my brakes look small.
Id think your wheels have a better chance at reselling on the used market. 19" 3 piece oz's in a 5x100 on the other hand...
