I took mine off for winter to prevent ripping it off or cracking it in packed snow.

its a front lip. you lose them. I have a collection of broken off ones before i made the final decision to just avoid buying them again.

I would have busted one last night, if I had one. Snap oversteered right (coming out of a 90 left) and put the nose into a huge snow drift. Not too fast, it was definitely below 15mph when it dove in. I was in over the hood, heh.

Didn't do anything but bend the front plate backwards... whew. Gotta love the snow barriers.:hsugh:

Well technically it didnt break off. Its urethane one so it just ripped off the skidplate on the passenger side and went under and got caught up in the driver side wheel well. broke all the mounting bolts and a peice of it so its a goner. luckily its not the 500 dollar version hahaha.

mine was the urethane seibon version. Held up pretty well until the heavy snow fall we had. I dont think any lip would survive hitting a snow bank or the loose stuff on the streets now with all that crap frozen. There like bricks.
