So here I was at my desk surfing the net and also answering my emails and then I get a email from my work email stating a pending purchase of 19.95. WTF? So I go on my credit card (score card) website to look at my statement and it said there was a pending purchasing of 19.95 from todaysescape. So I called the number provided and they said that they were a travel agent membership discount BS! I told them I have never ever talked with anyone about a travel whatever membership and how did you guys get a hold of my credit card??? He said that I MUST have talked with someone on the phone and they got transfered to him about the travel plan. I say BULL S****! I told them I was not intrested and want my money back. WTF!!! I have no idea how they got my credit card number and made a charge without me verifying it. Long story short watch out and always check your statments because this sh## was too fishy. OH and they said that I have talked with someone on APR 20th and they just now charged it. BS!!!!
lol^^^ Dude I just double checked my credit card statement and they also had a charge of $59.85 on 4/11/2007 I had to recall and tell them to Frickin give me my money back. The guy frist said that I'm I speaking to Karl Gunderson. I was like WTF? Who the F is that? BS man. This sh*t better be back with in 2 to 3 bussiness days like they said. Oh man what a headache.
see I know I spent some money at the escapelounge that week in april so hell I didn't even look twice at it. Or skimmed at my statment thinking it was the same place. Man I got to look at this more carefully.
I pay cash for drinks...but I don't drink anyways so I don't have to worry about it...unless the vending machines start taking CC
I got hit with credit card fraud last fall and boy that wasn't fun. Thankfully I caught it very early so I didn't get charged squat, but doing the run around with all the Fraud agents really suck.
I just had it happen to me. It was some access site and when I called my card they verified everything but then a wrong e-mail. It was only $40 or so but still not my purchase. They took it off and I had to get a new card.
