I was doing some looking at camera pricing today and I stumbled on this. http://www.bestpricecameras.com/prodetails.asp?prodid=902252&up=902244 Do you guys think this is legit? they way $419 for the body only (http://www.bestpricecameras.com/prodetails.asp?prodid=902244), thats like 1/2 of what retail price is. it seems too good to be true (logic dictates it must be). Under the company contact info they list a phone number but no address. fishy?
do some research - all the places like this are scams. grey market cams, they will tack on a huge bills for a bunch of "accessories" bumping the price to well over normal retail, rebadged cams, all in all stay away (use dpreview and potn as resources for finding out the best deals) use b&h - their prices are generally the best if not the best and they are legit
Yep, B&H has always been reliable and trustworthy. And their prices are usually very good. Otherwise, eBay.
If used will work out for ya, look up KEH. I have purchased a couple of things from them and they have always been really good. I picked up my 70-200 f2.8 VR for $1450 and it looked like brand new. Their rating scale is pretty good on the consumer side. I know a bunch of people that buy the bargain stuff because it is usually 2-3 steps better than bargain. Russ
