i have an 04 sti. i realized that the rear left has way too much negative chamber. more so than a stocker. i want this car to return the original chamber settings. does an alignment fix this? do you guys recommend any place to do this adjustment? the car has 38k on it so i dont know if warrenty still applies

If you have aftermarket suspension, you will need either camber bolts...or camber plates to adjust rear camber.

I think the stock bolt's allow you to adjust it back to the stock specs, iirc your running the stock suspension.

An alignment at any shop will suffice seeing that you're on stock suspension and want a standard alignment.

I don't think you can adjust camber in the rear w/out aftermarket parts anyway... are you sure the prevous owner didn't do something to it? If yours is actually stock and one of the wheels is visibly that much off you really should get it checked out.

I have a set of camber bolts that I'm willing to sell. I haven't used them. The Firestone where I got my alignment said they weren't needed for my situation. They're probably not the best solution (+1 for camber plates) but they're cheap.

My STi was hosed like this as well.... I could barely squeak within the factory specs (too much negative camber). My solution? Add more camber to the front. :) I know that many of the early allocation 04s had this problem, I have a first allocation. It may not be possible to get within factory specs without "other" methods.
