took out intake silencer on 05 sti

i took this bad boy out and it made the turbo and BOV more audible. :-D I am going to pick up an elbow from an RS to throw in there. does anyone by chance have one laying around? this only took about 10 minutes and puts a big smile on your face because of the louder BOV and you can hear the turbo spool very well.

the elbow is like 45 dollars shipped from them. seems kinda high, i might as well just butcher my silencer and patch it.

 

what elbow do you need? I have a bunch from my 01 RS if it might work

 

You should check out Nasioc.com they have several vendors that offer the delete elbow for $39.99 shipped.

i just hacked the globe off.

 

its the elbow that goes in the wheel well that connects to the airbox. let me know if you have that one.
