BBC America On Demand also has a few on there. I looked last night, and it seems that Ep1&2 have already dropped off the list. And the On Demand stuff doesn't have closed captions ;)

Please don't tell me you actually turn on closed captions. When they say that crap before each show it makes me wanna puke. :puke:

Of course we do. We've been watching TV like that for years. It is my experience that much of US TV is very poorly edited soundwise, and movies are the worst. The sound balance between dialogue and background noise is often so poor that CC is the only way to know what's been said. And having noisy little kids in the house makes CC a must, too.

(Psst, I'm actually a Brit, so I don't put them on because I can't understand the accents on BBCA, although 'er indoors struggles a bit with them sometimes since she's a local.)

Not to mention aluminium, jewellery, neighbour, gaol etc etc. You guys are always in so much of a hurry, you can't even be bothered to put all the letters in your words any more.

(OK, I'll give you aluminum; we bodged that one after one of your lot invented the stuff.)
