FS/FT Top of the line Radar Detectors! Hey everyone! I am new to these forums, having just bought an 03 wrx wagon. I happen to have two radars for sale, of which I'm sure someone will find useful. First, I have a brand new 9500ix Escort. Not to be confused with the 9500i. It is brand new, never opened. I got it for xmas, but since I already have one... I have no use for it! I can not say enough about this radar, I encourage you to do the research yourself. Also, I have a 8500 X50 Escort Passport. It has red l.e.d. It is used, but has been cared for and sent in this year for a software update and re-calibration. I swore by this thing and never hesitated to drive as fast as I felt like. I upgraded to the 9500ix however. I am looking to trade/sell either for some aftermarket parts for my wagon. I live in the Mall of America area. No reasonable offer refused. THANKS! also valentine doesn't have a database of redlight cameras and speed cameras for which valentine is USELESS
This one records the location and the specific frequency and ignores it in the future (shows a visual when it ignores but no audio). Different frequencies in the same location still cause an audible alarm. Memory for thousands of locations. Also interestingly, it sounded a red light camera alarm (using a location database) on 35W just north of University as I was going under an overpass.
That's cool man! Glad you like it! I just drove to grand forks,nd from minneapolis at 92 m.p.h. the whole way. Not one cop there, nor one back. I was shocked.
On a weekday its rare to see alot of cops in that area. There is one that normally sits about 20 miles north of Fargo. Then one that hides in the ditch right when you pull into G.F.(only at night). There is a spot towards the cities that I see one everyonce and a while can't remember the exit #.
It seems to be serving me well. Was in a hurry the other day on 280 and I'm pretty sure it helped save me from a good ticket. Cop behind a big white truck on the side of an on ramp gunning people by hand. Its definitely nice to be able to silence false alarms for good!
